Strange accounts of new worlds

Came across this wild account of a governor in the U.S. in the year of our Lord, 1802. Lord Timothy Dexter was a philanthropist and explorer who also made a fortune selling mittens in the West Indies. Well worth the read (if you're not too busy with property law).

Go inside the mind of a young boy.
